Context

Anywr is looking for a passionate and knowledgeable IT Security Analyst for one of its clients in Quebec City. This dynamic professional is ready to take on the challenges of constantly evolving cyber threats. Reporting to the Security Team Leader, the incumbent will work as an Information Security Analyst, recommending, implementing and operating security solutions for the company.

Mission

• Advising and recommending IT security options and guidelines.
• Use the tools in place to detect security issues for the organisation.
• Participating in safety recommendations concerning major company projects.
• Participating in the design, evaluation and implementation of safety solutions.
• Ensuring that best security practices are applied throughout the company.
• Ensuring data integrity and security, in line with business needs and industry best practice in terms of confidentiality, security and regulatory compliance.
• Keep abreast of the latest threats, vulnerabilities and trends in cyber security.
• Carrying out safety-related documentation.
• Planning and participating in intrusion tests and security assessments.
• Assisting, advising and training IT team resources on security issues.
• Participating in the response to security incidents.
• Make recommendations to reduce attack surfaces.
• Identify and help automate certain tasks.
• Carry out all other related tasks.
