Profile required:
- Training :
- BAC+ 4/5 in Industrial Design
- Experience :
- At least 15 years' experience in a similar position in the development and management of packaging innovation projects in the industrial sector
- Technical skills and knowledge :
- Solid knowledge of materials and processes for transforming matter, knowledge of sustainable development and project management
- Knowledge of packaging and environmental regulations and standards
- Good knowledge of industrial environments (pack suppliers, subcontractors)
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and modelling tools
- Good command of written and spoken professional English

Mission
The incumbent will be responsible for the creation, design and development of innovative packaging solutions that meet consumer expectations, technical, quality and financial constraints and applicable regulations.
Main activities:
- To manage the entire life cycle of packaging innovation projects, from initial design to market launch, while ensuring the quality and feasibility of the solutions developed;
- Carry out market research and trend analysis to identify market needs in terms of packaging;
- In-depth research into market trends, new technologies and innovative packaging materials;
- Managing the redesign of packaging for the brands' perfumes, cosmetics and accessories.
- Develop packaging for cases, boxes, sleeves and accessories (sourcing, briefing, development, supply, production planning and packaging management, creation of design and execution documents, proof approval, quality control/conformity);
- Create packaging ranges using 2D (Illustrator, Photoshop...) and 3D (Solidworks, Dimension, KeyShot...) Packaging Design;
- Create volume models and prototypes (assembled boxes, cases, accessories, decorations) in-house or by subcontracting;
- Design cutting layouts and make the necessary graphic adaptations;
- Work with the production and marketing departments to ensure that the packaging meets the needs of the product and the brand;
- Manage the packaging department's budget and optimise costs while ensuring high quality;
- Frequent international travel for sourcing and managing relations with subcontractors/suppliers (France, China, the Americas, etc.);
- Identify solutions to production problems (feasibility, quality and budget) ;
- Coordinate and supervise the activities of the packaging team
- Work closely with the Plant and Supply Chain departments
