- Training :
- Advanced degree in logistics, transport, supply chain management or equivalent field.
- Experience :
- At least 15 years' successful experience in logistics management, including at least 5 years in a similar position of responsibility.
- Proven experience in the cosmetics, industrial or mass retail sectors is a major advantage.
- Technical skills :
- Excellent command of logistics processes, warehouse management and the supply chain.
- In-depth knowledge of import/export procedures and international customs regulations.
- Proven skills in strategic planning and logistics flow optimisation.
- Proficiency in IT tools and logistics management software (SAP, ERP).
- Personal skills :
- Strong managerial skills and proven leadership.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage priorities and emergencies.

Mission
The incumbent will be responsible for optimising and supervising all the company's logistics operations, from planning to final delivery of products. You will ensure the efficient management of goods flows, while guaranteeing compliance with deadlines, costs and quality standards.
Main activities:
- Supply chain management and optimisation :
- Organising the department: annual roadmap, teams, objectives, tools, etc.
- Optimising supply, storage and distribution processes to maximise efficiency and minimise costs.
- Implement performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and continually improve logistics operations.
- Plan, coordinate and supervise day-to-day logistics activities.
- Planning and coordination :
- Work closely with the Plant, Sales and Development departments
- Guarantee the availability and conformity of manufacturing products and components
- Anticipating and managing fluctuations in demand and adjusting logistics plans accordingly (in conjunction with the sales departments)
- Drawing up and updating delivery schedules in line with customer requirements and operational constraints.
- Propose appropriate corrective actions to achieve the General Management's objectives
- Import and export management :
- To optimise the transport of raw materials and products, choosing the most appropriate modes of transport according to time, cost and volume requirements
- Manage relations with local regulatory bodies, customs, international suppliers, forwarding agents, carriers, etc.
- Ensure compliance with international trade and transport regulations
- Resolving delivery disputes
- Warehouse and shop management :
- Implementing efficient procedures for receiving, storing and dispatching products.
o Managing the components warehouse and ensuring the reliability and optimisation of stocks of raw materials, secondary materials and finished products
o Set up information systems to monitor product flows, in liaison with carriers and customers
- Team management :
- To organise the work of the department team and ensure its cohesion
- Carrying out the operational side of human resources management (recruitment, annual interviews, training, etc.).
- Manage your budget and staff resources by integrating productivity objectives, working time modulation and progress initiatives
